Re: What a lot of us have been wanting from Kemper..

Classic Kemper. Late to the party and features are stuck in the past. It's Kemper though so it will sound good and if you are in the ecosystem will be a good product.

Would have loved to see
- Proper midi in
- USB C
- Stereo XLR out
- A SCREEN goodness the UX can't be great

Re: The Rockbox Boiling Point Thread

The Boiling Point is a phenomenal drive. Have one of the original hand painted ones and will never sell it. Definitely sounds nothing like any TS I have ever heard. As discussed it has a huge amount of gain and volume on tap, which changes across the three clipping modes. I never had a problem just ...

Re: Ceriatone Amps

This was mine for a short while. - Was built by Nick rather than a kit, the work is top notch - It is LOUD, like louder than any of my other amps, even the 30 watters - it sounds great, but not exactly like a Lightning. Kind of had its own thing going on which I thought was interesting. Let me know ...

Ferry amp from Wellington to Auckland?

Anyone driving up to Auckland from Wellington? There’s a forum vox with my name on it and a bottle of wine with your name on it 😅

Re: multi switch solutions

I don’t have a recommendation for a specific product, but you should get one that has a transformer isolated out and a phase reverse option so that you can deal with ground loops and phase issues.

Re: Dual drive pedals: experiences?

Really the only advantage a dual drive gives is real estate and power requirements, that being said there are some great dual drives out there.

Re: Guitar Toan, What Actually Matters?

Sound wise a good amp is going to make a bigger difference than a good guitar. But a good guitar will feel better, and probably make you play better.

Ideally have a good guitar into a good amp :D

Re: Guitar Toan, What Actually Matters?

Cool video. Definitely explains why your tone would sound more crisp using a wireless unit if you were used to long cables. Cables make the most difference I reckon, especially if you have a large pedalboard, each length of cable adds capacitance which eats into your treble frequencies, I still rem...

Boutique is best.
Honest answer, I thought I needed to scratch a Strat itch, turns out I don’t. I was going to sell one of the Tele’s to keep this but Tele through and through.

Re: Output mod

I don't understand anyone who says under 50w tube is enough for a jam situation with acoustic drums. Unless I just happen to have struck a homicidal maniac percussionist every band I've been in. Which is actually likey....pitfalls of the genre I guess Your drummer must be insane, or more likely, yo...

Is that pau ferro on the neck?
Its actually Indian rosewood but it’s much lighter and more interesting looking than all my other rosewood necks. I actually had to go and reread the spec list when I saw it in person as i wondered what it could be.

NSuhrD! And a unique one

Had never seen this model before, when I spotted it on Reverb I had to buy. https://i.ibb.co/BsYXGxZ/F0-BC03-D2-82-DC-40-F6-A90-C-D74-DDE5-AD5-A4.jpg Tele/Strat hybrid, maybe it will scratch this Tele players Strat itch. Haven’t plugged it in yet, but unplugged it is very resonant and has a lurvely ...
