Yeah they’re a bit fanatical over there. I always preferred to just lightly toast the heathens.

Not until you mentioned it. Interesting! Still feel a bit more gas for a JHS Panther though. But, to be honest, if I got a an extra delay I don't think I'd need another tap tempo - it would just be for that "halo" background thing.

I just can't bring myself to let go of my Memory Lane Jr, it's everything I want in a delay. I think if I got another delay it be something small and a bit darker, like a Carbon Copy.

Pedal Me Up

I know that it goes against type for me to do self-indulgent posts GASing for pedals. But anyway, here's my "problem". I have a pedaltrain nano with room for give or take 5/6 pedals. I've always loved pedals. The board size is a good limiter. BUT. I've been playing my new AC15, and ...

Re: Rat Alternatives

Ok, makes sense, cheers! Would be keen to hear more about the Bronson - any youtube demos? And that Catalinbread pedal has me interested too. My OD's would go Timmy -> Hotcake -> THIS pedal, so have something in that spot that could do both gainer sounds and fuzz would be ideal (I only have a pedalt...

Re: Rat Alternatives

I have been ratted out HOHO! So with Voxen, run it with gain below 12 and as much vol as you dare - best is to try and set the gain low enough that the bass response is juuuust kicking in and loads of vol to pummel the preamp - don't bother using it for brootz. Avoid a new bog standard Rat 2, You D...

I'd be keen to hear his thoughts.

A swift googling tells me the JHS All American is one option.
