Starts off with a SG and Les Paul, ends with 2 Les Pauls.

I must be classically trained as thats my preferred knee for any guitar, I never seem to balance properly on the right knee
I've always played Strats on the right knee but I seem to have better luck with Les Pauls on the left knee :)

They usually start 8:30-9pm from memory, unless it’s a large bill.

Re: Auckland Music Market

I got there just in time to say hi to Jack who was packing up. Sad to have missed most of the action but to be fair there was some amazing paella at my brother's birthday lunch :)

Re: Starting my journey on the search for my perfect LP Standard

Unsure if it's still there, but Bill (Bungalow Bill) had an ebony 1987 LP Standard (same year as Slash's Jessica) for around $4k. Give him a yell in case it's still there or if he has any others for sale Looks like it may have sold? https://bungalowbills.com/bungalow-bills-music-shop-product-catego...

Re: NGD: LP Traditional

I just realised I have failed to post any sound clips of the guitar, here's a demo I did for Mr Glyn's new Playmaker set:

Re: MikeC Princeton Pro Poll

P.S. have you voted? Yup I did, no reverb required for a pedal platform. If it was a grab n go to plug straight into the reverb would be a cool option. PS: the 63 spring model on the HX stomp sounded so nice I had to check there were no springs in the amp :D Btw I think it would be best to have bot...

Maybe the difference in cost would make this a clearer poll ;-)

Talk about timing, Glyn has some new pickups he wanted me to try. Called the Playmaker, they are 7.1K A2 neck and 11.8K A4 bridge. Put them in along with the 500K pots and they are sounding great so far. Should have some clips soon.

NGD: LP Traditional

Some of you may know I’ve been GASing for an ebony Standard for a while, even more after I played Capt Black’s Tokai at the Tronfest. IMG_2311.jpeg Sopachrga’s LP showed up for sale, so I sold the 61 SG to fund this. Mark is great people, we had a nice wee hang and I ended up taking the LP home. Wei...
