Was going to ask you and this reminded me.... what string gauge to you use on your Strats?
10-46 in Standard tuning and 11-49 for Eb. D'Addario EXL110 and EXL115 basically.

Re: Loop switchers and pedals that start up disengaged

Google flip flop switching circuits, I've been meaning to do the same for my Arion SCH-1 but switching it on each time is less effort than doing the mod

Re: Anyone Rocking Vintage Blackface?

Had a ‘67 Pro Reverb with G12-65s that I gigged for a few years. A truly great amp, but the need for regular maintenance and a step down transformer prompted me to sell it and get a Suhr Bella 44. Equally happy with the sounds, and it’s built like a tank.

Re: Strats.

The EJ is the best production model Strat currently. You could find them for 1200 USD all day.
After getting my first, I bought 2 more ;)

Re: The Velcro that’s not Velcro…?

Just be careful of the black dual lock with the white foam backing, that residue is hard to remove!
The translucent SJ3560 works best from experience.

Re: Two Notes Genome

Does it have a standalone software? During beta testing time it was VST/AU/AAX only.

Re: The Velcro that’s not Velcro…?

This is the one you want. Some hot air on the glue before sticking and it will hold even heavy pedals tight.
To remove from surface, heat again, leaves zero residue.

MikeC Sixty-One SRT: Amp Review

MikeC was kind enough to loan me one of his creations to review.
What a killer little thing, the edge of breakup tones were my favorite.
VRM control is cool, lets you get driven tones at low volumes.

This is what I have. Just realised it may not be grunty enough for your needs, but have a think.
I'm happy to give it a try if you've got a couple of hours to spare the next time you're in Aucks?

Re: NCD: Marshall 2061CX

Did a bit of digging and found this on the Les Paul Forum according to mitch colby from korg, the speakers on the HW series "...will be aged by “pulping” the cone and slightly degaussing the magnet." this may be why you may like the G12H30s in the 2061x cab, but haven't cared for them in t...
