I think that sounds very nice on the drier sound at the beginning, possibly because the two mics are slightly softening the tone. Once all the echo and stuff is in it sounds a bit messy, and the tow mics being a little out of time and out of phase could be part of that . . . I quite like a single co...
sounds like the voice coil got a bit buggered. Livesound did a beauty job repairing one for me. About $110 I think. That was an old Eminence, but I'm sure they will do other brands too.

I have old ones in my 4x12. It's a great sound as far as I'm concerned. Full, rich bass and clear treble. They are mid scooped and as such are not for everyone.
very cool. I have a JB jr on my desk waiting to go into my Squier. I figure with the right wiring (it needs to coil split in position 2!) it will make a awesome covers band guitar. Has anyone compared the JB jr and the lil 59? I've had a lil 59 before and remember it being too honky for my tastes. B...

I hadn't heard about this, but I'm SOOOO stoke. Have spent a few K to set my business up to live stream events and had to buy a new PA, so this is a godsend
He used to use Reinhardt amps (pretty high gain as far as I know). These days I believe he's using Kemper live. He was using the Reinhardt Storm which was Bob's take on a Jcm 800. Odd choice I thought ( as did Bob haha ) I think a JCM800 makes a lot of sense, isn't it essentially the same kind of t...

Crikey. I really want that 1974X, why does this always happen when I have no money?
DUESENBERG STARPLAYER REBOUND It's another superb guitar. But I've discovered it's not me. I'm a battered Fender guy. And when I'm not playing one, I wonder why. The Doozy has lots of tonal colour. It's a rewarding home player, would be an amazing studio guitar but in a band, I don't need that much...
I've often wondered about these types of things, that pedal show uses one over a laptop / interface kind of setup, from a practical viewpoint they must be great for garage band recording etc... They are a bit cool. Mine has 2x Condenser mics and 2x Mic inputs. You can record up to 4 channels on the...

Congrats. I've heard those are nice guitars and a good alternative to Rickenbacker. Knopfler is a genius as a lyricist and MASTER guitarist, songwriter, arranger, everything. The only thing he's not great at in singing, but he writes such great tunes all he has to do it occasionally mumble a word or two near a microphone and it just sounds luverly I’m going to challenge you on the...
