I sold mine and bought a Royal Atlantic, which had separate EQ controls and a built-in attenuator. It was massive and really well built . I miss it now.

Personally I wouldn't use an ultrasonic cleaner on those parts, they look pretty clean generally. You can polish the parts very lightly with Autosol and they will come up shiny, you may start to lose the gold finish though if you are not very careful. A proper setup and raising the tail stop will so...

Yeah I watched it on Youtube. There were some interesting pre-auction video's with Mark too. I learn't that on Money For Nothing he used a re-issue LP and he got his '59 later.
