Re: Artist Guitars?
Picked up another artist guitar this week to go along with the les Paul I have. Needed a change of strings and a bit of a tidy up of feet ends and stuff, but it is really bloody impressive for the price. Is on sale for $380 on the artist website. First thing I do with all the ones I've bought is sw...

Re: Show Us Your Guitar
Got this back from a mate that borrowed it way back in the first lockdown in 2020. Has a rio grande p90 of some sort in it and it absolutely roars. Not sure why I waited so long to get it back. I see the baritone in the background - been lusting over your FS thread. It’s just sold on trademe sorry....

NGD- Cabronita baritone.
I have been looking for a baritone for a while and managed to pick this up on trademe for bugger all.
Oxblood colour is pretty cool, not too sure about the gold pickguard though.
Won’t get a chance to plug it in until the weekend, but seems with a bit a tweak to the setup it will play real well.

Picked up an artist LP59 for $250 off trade me.
Haven’t had an LP style guitar for years, but initially it seems pretty awesome.
Pickups sound decent enough on first play. Needs a bit of a setup but should scratch the LP itch for a while, or let’s face it probably just make it worse haha.

Re: The Cheap Guitars Thread
I think this is about a cheap as can be. It’s a pitbull guitars kit that I ordered and built over lockdown. Upgraded the pickups to I think a rio-grande set from memory and it absolutely screams now, holds its own compared to my American elite Tele. Recently refinished it with a good old can of spra...

This year I decided to attempt dry July and put any money I would usually spend on beer aside to save for a guitar. Managed to put enough away that with a bit of a top-up I could get a new guitar (not really sure if that’s a positive thing, but oh well 😂) This popped up on trademe a couple of weeks ...

I purchased this old arch top off trademe late last year. I thought it could be a fun project, but spare time is non existent. One side of the top has sunk which I’m guessing could be a pain to fix. Happy to give to someone who will get it fixed up and actually use it instead of hanging it on the wa...

Re: Forums have been slow, how about a 'In the mail' thread?
This lockdown has found me buying weird cheap stuff off trade me.
the latest a $50 archtop and a good old Peavy Rage (my first ever guitar amp) for $20
Not expecting a lot from the guitar, but something about cheap gear is just fun.

Re: Telecaster Pickups
I have seen those and other wiring kits.
Was enough of a rabbit hole trying to pick what pickups to order that I didn't know where to even start with them

Re: Telecaster Pickups
thanks for all of the replies. I have ordered a set of Q pickups which hopefully won't take forever to ship here. my question now is, can the volume pot that is in the guitar be wired up to bypass the switching part, or is it better to just order a standard one? the guitar currently has the S1 switc...
