Re: Johnnys cabs.... *Lots of progress*

Re: Solder tips tips

Sizzlingbadger just bet me to it - I also use a chisel tip with my Hakko - I find the conical ones that go to a small rounded point do not provide enough surface area to transfer the heat. The chisel tip works well for me for turrets, eyelets, valve pins and even small components on a printed circui...

I'm excited by the shape of that headstock.
So you've seen BG's penis too then!
In the last 37 years many people have been excited by my headstock.
Fark, I'm just happy with a little wood!

Master Volume, Bass, Middle, Treble, Vol2, Vol1 (Vol2 & Vol1 are pre-amp gain). Makes the amp very tinkerable!

Re: Johnnys cabs....

That amp sounded really good into my 112 Mesa Wideboy cab with the Celestion Blue. The open back/closed back option is a good idea too.

Re: Cable soldering advice

Don't close strain relief collar until you've finished soldering. Else it melts the cable's outer insulation layer.

If anyone is keen to buy one off me in a few weeks time send me a PM. https://i.imgur.com/wqNJpAK.png I put one of these in ...

Re: Wampler Wobbles

Sounds like an earthing issue, are the nuts on the jacks tight?
