Re: Bluetooth Pageturner

no advise on a page turner, but what app are you using for charts? OnSong atm, I also have iReal Pro (highly recommended for jazz chord charts), but have used OnSong for years and its been very good. Normally I use the auto scroll feature to scroll the song, but with big band charts, you need to na...

Bluetooth Pageturner

I play in a jazz big band and need a page turner to navigate through the charts on iPad, trying to move out of paper lol. Anyone have experience using one of these for this purpose please? Of course the secondary use is for any iOS apps :). My searching so far has yielded: Xsonic airstep (apparently...

Turns out it's 33 degrees so yes. Happy New Year Ross. :D Happy new year to you too. I recognised the symmet...

Re: What's on your work bench?

Picked up ani e old Stanley No.4 today, now I have two of the buggers. But this came with original box and manual! After a clean, flatten, sharpen its shaving paper thin. I love using sharp hand tools, they’re a pleasure. I’d love to complete the set, I’ve got 4, 4 1/2, 5, 6 and a 7 in various stat...

Re: Show Us Your Guitar

Seasick Steve on the right and the left one looks like Dulcimer stringing? I've got one of those LR Baggs acoustic thingies. Never used it. Should probably get you to teach me to drive it.... The one on the right is affectionately known as the beach guitar (tuned c-C-Gg-cc) and the one on the left ...

Re: Show Us Your Guitar

Matsuoka.jpeg I've been playing mostly acoustic guitar lately but I'm afraid my Forum credibility has hit a new low. I'm really enjoying the sound of my very heavily played Matsuoka M50. The neck is a challenge; it's wide and the fretboard is flat which is demanding to say the least but the sound! ...

Re: Love/hate for Danelectro

That is exactly the long horn bass I was thinking about. Did you sell it? I did. Sold at the beginning of August. Always found them to be a cool little bass. If I'd known I would have offered it up here too. Sorry mate. No probs, saw 1 when I was in London a couple of years ago and it was 600 pound...
