5881 is just a mil spec 6L6 isn't it, but lower wattage... so going to 6L6s should give you more clean headroom and volume, rahhh! Every time I read the literature about biasing amps it gives me a brain ache Yeah its part of why I like cathode biased amps, too lazy to deal with biasing :rofl:

For the grill cloth I just made a frame and stapled the cloth to it then yeah velcro on the back to attach it to the baffle
