Re: Return of the Gibbons shocker thread!

Looking at the present and future guitarists, I'll stick with the past thanks. Audible dreck, 90% of it. Although there still seems to be a plethora of youngsters on YouTube playing Sabbath and Zeppelin material, so maybe there is hope. I'll fetch my cardigan. Is it a Gibson cardigan ? If it's anyt...

Re: NGD Gibson LP Jnr

That's rather nice. Congrats. Just a tip. Snap the neck off at the heel and screw it back on with whatever you can find in the shed. I promise you, it really improves the tone... ;-) Cool ! good advice thanks  We might need a thread for which screws have better tone, stainless, steel, bras...

Guitars are works of art that also make cool sounds. So they are better than paintings, sculptures etc. Nothing wrong with collecting them. Says the guy who can't play and is thinking about buying another one. Sigh.

Re: Pedals Of Epicness

Has anyone tried the EHX Spruce Goose Overdrive? Supposed to be a Bluesbreaker clone with extra Boost function. I've still got my mate's JHS Morning Glory V4 available which is supposed to tickle the Bluesbreaker funnybone. I should probably pick up a guitar and play it before going to market for p...
