Re: NGD.
The Music Works rep brought in some Eastmans for me to check out. I was very impressed with them. Really nice guitars. He had a 335 style with P90s abs a bigsby, really sweet guitar. Congrats!
Re: NGD
And you scored a honey/gold finish like on my '13 R6..........looks great.... congrats.................pretty sure you'll like the Custombuckers also. Interestingly I am already familiar with this guitars custombuckers as they have been living in my Chibson for a while now, I bought them when the p...

Re: NGD
This is a bonus. Imagine the stress of gigging an immaculate guitar! Yeah I'm stressed enough as it is, lol. I was anxious just picking it up at first, but getting used to having it and starting to enjoy it more. The previous owner assured me that there was no cracking of the finish. Could ...
Re: NGD
Shouldn't these things be stinky, dirty and appear to be falling to bits? I thought only then it would be liked by forum people, right? It's got a few knocks and dings having been the main player of it's previous owner, but thankfully not stinky or falling to bits. Smells Gibsony. This is a bonus. ...
Re: NGD
Nice! Is it worth the extra expense over a standard or trad or what have you? That's subjective I guess. It's more vintage accurate, non weight relieved, has a few subtle differences to those models. But whether those differences are worth the extra money is up to the person spending the money. It'...

Before the sun sets on this most prestigious NGD... (Well technically it's already set, but you know, metaphorically speaking) 20210411_154003.jpg Have had this in my possession for a week but just paid the remainder today, put my strings on it, did my setup etc, seems real now, and posting here is ...

I realise I have a tendency to over argue my thoughts.

Re: Les Paul v 335 - can you really hear the difference?
I feel this thread is going to haunt me for another 10 years at least. I seem to have knack for making myself into a forum meme. No offence intended to anyone, just thought it might be an interesting discussion. (I'm now Sootying over whether to play a 335 or LP at the Michael Fowler Centre. I'm con...

Re: Les Paul v 335 - can you really hear the difference?
FFS Cam, how many times do people have to say that it's not about the static sound of the guitar plugged in before you actually listen? Calm down mate. I'm not saying there's no difference whatsoever and it's not OK to prefer one over the other - it was just in response to the idea that Rhett propo...

Guessed by no one. I rest my case. 😂 Well if this truly is a competition, your case is flawed. The thread title is "Les Paul v 335 - can you really hear the difference?" and not "Guess which one is the Tokai 335" So "Not Proven". If the difference between a 335 and an ...
