Hmmm. That is funny the you like the JCM 900 clip better tone wise. I thought that compared to the Mesa it sounded so rough! The Mesa has a sweeter sound I think.

My guitar is woodgrain. And it's a tele. So I can't shred on it. As for settings, I think it is something which really depends on your guitar, and having said that, my guitar sounds quite different to any guitar I've played before. Not really an LP sound or a Tele/Strat sound. Basically I had master...

Ah. It won't fit. It's 3.something Mb. Can I email it to you and you stick it up BG?

When I had finished uploading it and it said it was too big I though "is it really worth it, just to let them hear dodgy notes and out of tune bends?"

I'll assume you say yes and email it now.

Mesa/Boogie Clip

I was mucking around with some chords and I recorded them, thinking I could play them in the background when I was studying, just to see if anything about them struck me. All that actually happened was I stopped studying and started playing the guitar. My Ash tele into the Mesa. The clean on the fir...

I don't know where to put your amp, but tell me if you find out! I tried to find an amp which was audible over drummers for a while, and ended up with a Marshall stack! Though probably after that there were more issues, with a lot of sound in the audience but very little going to my ears. At the mom...

I think I learned what irony is today. I'm still getting the hang of it.
I'd say well done anyway.

And how does it play?

Nah, I remember the early stuff being Mesa. I was looking at a super indepth site on them one day and it has all the gear from all the tours over all the years.

I understand that the whole Rectifier range has a bias switch so it can be either 6L6's or EL34's. I bought some JJ EL34's the other day so I can see how they go.

Well, I think you'd at least be good as one of those other ones. Um. MPs. I mean if they make rules especially so that they can sleep in parliment, you could surely play the guitar quietly when all the boring stuff is going on. And when you're asked a question, just paraphrase and repeat the questio...

I think the Wind Cries Mary. Either that or Machine Gun or Little Wing. WCM because it is the most listenable of the 3, but all are songs which aren't like any other song - kind of off in a style of their own.

Ah, it's not working. Basically the Marshall has a continuous signal, but the Mesa splits it into dry and wet and then gets you to mix them?

It's made a good impression so far. The clean channel hit me straight off - a bit reason I wanted something different was the lack of a decent clean sound from the Marshall. The other reasons were I wanted more portability (the Mesa is v. heavy, it needs wheels) and less of a metal sound (it sounds ...

Boss TR 2. It just went though. The eq has gone as well.
There is the whammy and a crybaby. And now my JCM 900.
