Re: Best effects for DSL 100 loop on a budget

Yay, another DSL owner! :D

I recently bought a BBE Sonic Maximiser from CustomAudioBoutique for my DSL - They go together VERY well. If you want that sort of hi-gain mesa crunch, that'd be my first place to go

Re: Good Amp repair\service in Auckland?

I am now a converted Clarry fan. Had the amp fixed in less than a day and it was dirt cheap! Definatly going back to him if another problem arises!

I'll take it to this Clary guy, only heard positive things about his work. About time the amp had a general service too.
Cheers guys for your help.

Good Amp repair\service in Auckland?

Just a week after my input jacks on my cab gave way, my freaken output jacks on the back of my amp decided to give way too!!! This has been very frustrating for me, and i'd rather not even concider taking it to the rockshop to get fixed, as last time it took over a week just to get a verbal quote. O...

Re: Sonic Maximizer's

Ok, so the pedal arrived today. Initally, i plugged it into the front of the amp, and didn't notice anything when the pedal was switched on - So i moved it around to the back of the amp and through the FX loop. Straight away the difference was apparent! Boosts the lows and makes the highs clearer. I...

Re: 1960A Input Jack

That beast is riveted on too. Decide how you're going to get it off safely and get it back on before you worry about buying a replacement. I would expect the whole assembly to be significantly more expensive than the fairly standard parts it carries. The one in the picture seems to be, however my o...

Re: 1960A Input Jack

You won't be able to buy the wiring jacks prewired from the RS if thats what you mean, you will have to DIY. Are you sure? The guy said they do sell parts. I would have thought this would be a very common part when it comes to cabs. Especially because its such a simple little unit and individual pa...
