Re: Would you happily play a really cheap guitar?

Sure, but I think I've only encountered one really cheap guitar that didn't need a bunch of upgrades to make it worthwhile. An old USA Peavey Predator I got for $80 or something that I wish I'd kept. Otherwise they generally feel like what they cost.

NGD (more or less) D18!

After some great service from Ady at the Guitar Gallery, and via a setup by Rob Matthews, I've ended up with what really should be all the guitar I'm ever going to need :D

Re: Jansen reissues

Interestingly. Mel from Weta and I were chatting about Jansens and the infamous mr dench. He was saying that when Denche was in completist mode collecting every Jansen model, denche commissioned him to make up some bodies to go with old necks and parts Denche had to make up examples. Oh wow, that g...

Anyone played/owned any of these? Looking for a second guitar, something quirky, and wondering what these are like.

NAD! The amp to end all amps :D 84698511_1428448994023140_1725855878306856960_o.jpg In my opinion, the black/silver face Princeton Reverb is the must have amp in a collection. I almost sold mine (1973 Silverface) to buy some silly guitar about 2 years ago. Thankfully it didn’t happen. Congrats. It ...
