So who have you been listening to lately that got your attention that most people probably haven't heard of? I'll start the ball rolling...
Obviously really reminiscent of Pink Floyd, but generally he's just a solid and tasteful blues/rock player. A number of his tracks bring to mind Gary Moore - have a listen to his 'True Colours' album
Eddy Shaver. Guitarist for his dad Billy Joe Shaver and their band Shaver. I've said it before and I'll say it again, can play blues, country, rock. All with a Strat.
Died of an overdose in 2000 sadly.

Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.
If anyone’s in a tasteful shred mood a guy called Muris Varajic is worth a spin. Have been listening to his ‘Research’ album, solid playing and some really nice tones
