Les Pauls are great, but there is something about the extra snap of the strings and the roomier scale length of teles.

There's more "real" 59s in circulation than Gibson ever made out so the story goes...

Good read that. Article says he sold his first rare guitar to Norm's. You'd think that'd be about the worst thing you could do next to taking it to a pawn shop. Obviously not done him any harm in the long run though.
