Best way to remove silver marker?

Post by The Scarecrow »

I've acquired a Schecter in matte finish has a bunch of signatures from dj's from The Rock on it - it was won by the previous owner as a prize, but they've got zero value to me. Its been done in that silver marker ink they use writing on black surfaces.

Best method of removing? And I've tried meth (spirits) but not much joy.

thinners .... just don't leave it on the surface for long. Wet a rag with it and rub

just remember this will "polish" up the matte finish as will most things you use to remove

A bit of methylated spirits on a cloth should move it without damaging the finish.

There are still some that think the neck PU is moved to accommodate the extra frets which only proves they cannot detect the difference in length of each.
