but why no nitro, that would be so much icing on the cake.

Post a few pics of your work if you're able.

A lot of guys will want a very thin, faded nitro finish in old DuPont colours. Well, some will. Be worth offering.

I can get 30% Gloss nitrocellulose lacque if that’s a requirement . Cheers

The colours started out on cars anyhow. metallic lpb is a 50's cadi colour.

Struggling to find this color on my system. Especially because it’s a DUCO paint not DuPont and I’m working with PPG Envirobase.

On the other hand, I’ll keep looking but what would definitely speed up a process is a sample. Reaching.. I know.

maybe get Conway involved as a consultant, I`ll take the usual finders fee.

anyhoo, vintage white is the best colour for guitars. BY FAR!
There are still some that think the neck PU is moved to accommodate the extra frets which only proves they cannot detect the difference in length of each.

personally I'd take PPG water based over nitro in a heartbeat.
