End of march / early April? A Saturday afternoon would suit me best...

Cows will eat other cows if they are lacking in nutrients, usually ones who are already dead, but it's quite gross!Vince wrote:a) cows and sheep are vegansjeremyb wrote:Vegans taste terrible tho', we don't have enough fat on us for flavour!Danger Mouse wrote: Vegan sausages only though.
b) as a (vegan) friend once put it, "if you think you can't put on weight on a vegan diet, I have two words for you 'peanut', 'butter'"
An acoustic gearfest would be so much fun. I don't think there'd be enough takers in Wellington though.

Re: Christchurch Acoustic Fest!
I'm up for this
If we can't find a suitable venue, or people fancy a trip out to the countryside I'm happy to host out in Darfield in the man-cave/studio. I should have the new lounge suite in the house by then so there can be plenty of comfortable seating etc. as I can relocate the old sofas out there

That could be a goer, according to Google maps it's only slightly longer from kaiapoi as it is from CHCH!

I'm coming from Amberley, but still happy to trek out to Darfield. Would be nice to make a day of it if anyone is up for some burnt offerings to start with.

Re: Christchurch Acoustic Fest!
We're about 35 mins out of town from Riccarton.
If you get out early lunch time we have an AWESOME Bakery that does some brilliant Pies
BTW, I'm only suggesting this if the majority want to come out, if it's too much hassle or inconvenient then lets do it in town somewhere

Dany, Dave, and I could potentially carpool, and I think softball finishes up on the 23rd so if it's after that I can get out your way earlier

Darfield sounds awesome. Obviously as the host, John will be providing all the refreshments?

I might come. But I don't really have anything exciting.
Yup - that's me and my pal Steve or little stevie vai as I like to call him. In Auckland airport when I was 26. I'm not 26 anymore.
