The point is that a new vox amp is scheduled on the coming weeks.
https://www.voxamps.com/AC15HW1G12C
and i was wondering wether it's worth to upgrade it . (like some of you, did on ac15HW1)
I know, it's perhaps too early.
I am a little bit disapointed by the replies .
We don't have a lot of spam bots on this site, but it's fair to say your first post has all the hallmarks of one, or at least a real person spam generator. Right down to the style of language. You have my apologies but maybe you could see how it might be a mistaken identity. Also, maybe an introduction to yourself so we can get to know you might help. What gear do own today for example? Why Vox?
Yes, too early to comment on an amp that isn't out in the flesh. My view is modern Vox all benefit from an OT upgrade and a bit of tweaking to the circuit. But JB is right - start from scratch....then decide.
Hi!
Thanks for your reply
Sorry for my english, i am from Paris
I already have a machtless lightning head and Friedman PT20 head (american amp but with british sound) that are handwired amp as you know. (With G12-65 celestion cabinet)
3 years ago i was playing on Two-rock custom reverb.
I play in a band for a long time . (Pop, blues, rock especially sixties, seventies songs)
I took the decision buying the newAC15HW1_G12AC because of the british sound, the functionnalities (cut off, bright switch, Half power ability, 2 channels, top boost, bypass switch master).
Finally , Mods are quite easy if need be. (why i was interested in your site!)
All the best
Jean Michel
