new AC15HW1_G12c
Hi!
The new AC15HW1AC is scheduled for next May. (price 1499 euros)
it's probably the same as the AC15hw1 except the HP that is Warehouse g12c and the design (close to the old AC15)
To me 2 alternatives :
- Either order the AC15hW1-G12c then upgrade
-Or Find out an old ac15, but it's very rare and expensive.
I prefer the first solution and change filter caps and coupling caps. But is it necessary to go further , i mean change OT and PT as well ?
Thanks for your relevant reply
Kind regards

I don’t see a handwired coming, just a usual AC15c1 with the Warehouse speaker?

Same...not sure what a spam post like that would achieve.bluesierra wrote:Can someone explain to me what the point of that is?
Yes I realise you don't always assign logic to such things...

The point is that a new vox amp is scheduled on the coming weeks.

and i was wondering wether it's worth to upgrade it . (like some of you, did on ac15HW1)
I know, it's perhaps too early.
I am a little bit disapointed by the replies .

First thing, don't believe everything you read on the internet, for 99.99999% of people a modern, unmodified amp is perfectly awesome, buy the one you like the look of and play it, enjoy it

We don't have a lot of spam bots on this site, but it's fair to say your first post has all the hallmarks of one, or at least a real person spam generator. Right down to the style of language. You have my apologies but maybe you could see how it might be a mistaken identity. Also, maybe an introduction to yourself so we can get to know you might help. What gear do own today for example? Why Vox?aeiouy wrote:bluesierra wrote:Can someone explain to me what the point of that is?

Yes, too early to comment on an amp that isn't out in the flesh. My view is modern Vox all benefit from an OT upgrade and a bit of tweaking to the circuit. But JB is right - start from scratch....then decide.

Re: new AC15HW1_G12c
second hand ones pop up, last HW ac15 went for 1K
There are still some that think the neck PU is moved to accommodate the extra frets which only proves they cannot detect the difference in length of each.
