I've really been digging jonesy's jukebox : steve jones from the sex pistols radio show in LA
Heres a good one with Stewart Copeland, but I've pretty much listened to all of them now - all so good
round about 20 mins, Jonesy is warning against swearing... lol

Re: YouTube goodness
yeah I have listen to all of them that are on apple podcast..he is great. It is a bit weird that they put up the episodes that have no guests and are just him talking after songs are played .. but they can't play the songs for copyright reasons so it just sounds like nothing at allBg wrote:I've really been digging jonesy's jukebox : steve jones from the sex pistols radio show in LA

I was going to skip this when I saw the title, but I'm glad I didn't, what a great interview
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

Cool! Thanks. I could relate to a lot of that. Aesthetics are important. You just can't get away from it.sizzlingbadger wrote:Brian, you'll like this...

Not the kind of thing I'd normally listen to but I like this guy's playing.
And this is nice too. Beautiful Les Paul.

Bernie Marsden playing with patience and space. If I had this backing-track I'd be using ten times as many notes and running out of ideas by the bridge.
Love that it refers to his old Les Paul ('The Beast') as 'rarely seen'. It's never f'kin' out of the guitar magazines.
Wonder what amp he's using.
