Bugger these are the wrong type...
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

Re: Forums have been slow, how about a 'In the mail' thread?
I discovered a new NZ-RS online this week.
So, a couple of these coming to repair my guitar-and-inears cable.
But I also thought I'd swing by our favourite online RS...

Wasn't going to buy anything else this year as whatever I get is going to have to sit in storage for a while but being highly impulsive I did anyway..

That's a really pretty Les Paul, Molly, well done. And a great price. I can 'store' that for you for nothing.Molly wrote:Wasn't going to buy anything else this year as whatever I get is going to have to sit in storage for a while but being highly impulsive I did anyway..

Judging by how the rest of his auctions went I could probably have scored it for less. It was like a Dutch auction with the price continually falling until someone couldn't resist.KentNZ wrote:Holy cow, that’s a good price on that Les Paul.

Interesting. And now I’ve spotted an LP with P90s on TM. Not helpful.

sold my passive PA and mixer this week so getting another headrush frfr.
Means I have a PA if needed and I can do stereo Helix at very loud vols. Good thing is they sound great quiet too. Time to clear out the office.

Nice. Love stereo reinforcement. What does the Headrush do that sets it apart from the Yamaha/JBL/Mackies of this world?Bg wrote:sold my passive PA and mixer this week so getting another headrush frfr.
