Delay talk.
Hey all,
Because I sold my pedals so I could travel for Christmas with my gf here in Japan, eventually I’d be buying another delay, maybe in 2 months time so I’d be keen to try out something different.
Here are my options:
GFI Tempus
Strymon El Capistan
Strymon Timeline
DD-500 again
Timefactor
Or just run without delay haha
Guitar —> overdrive —-reverb —-> amp. I play mostly rock / fusion

these are seriously the muts nuts. all the bells and whistles.
smaller footprint than the multi-boutiqary and toans .
these are sometimes available on reverb, pedal empire in aussie or direct from his site

"Cash on the ballot, money to burn, Dealey Plaza, make a left-hand turn" Bob Dylan is a genius

I think if I were to splash out on a nice delay I’d go for the Free The Tone ‘Flight Time’. Had one briefly earlier this year, was a bit over my head at the time but it sounded absolutely wonderful.

Re: Delay talk.
How complex do you want to get?
Neunaber echelon is very nice. Small footprint, almost a musicality in itself.
I did sell mine to Conway but ask him how he's getting on with it.

Oh man to many options! I’ll have a look into it. But the neunaber and the flux seems really good! Will research more on the 80tape and the flight time!

Re: Delay talk.
Just get anything but a Sterilemon or similar, they're nowhere near as inspiring as many of the others listed in this thread!

The other one I had courtesy of Troy was an Empress Tape Delay, that was badass.Mini Forklift Ⓥ wrote:I think if I were to splash out on a nice delay I’d go for the Free The Tone ‘Flight Time’. Had one briefly earlier this year, was a bit over my head at the time but it sounded absolutely wonderful.
