It's been out for a while. Not exactly cheap at US$1600 though, older BE100 (2 input jack ones) are about US$2K used nowadays.Green Bastard wrote:Just saw ceriatone have a Friedman clone,

Could be keen if the exchange rate gets a bit better.

Wouldn’t mind a decent vibe pedal, anybody tried the MXR Uni Vibe? Im currently hovering over the ‘Checkout Now’ button on Amazon.

Re: What are you gassing for?
Amazon actually list any import fees/taxes for you. Does mean you can't try and sneak something through with them, though.KNNZ wrote:sorry off topic but on a similar note, how much is shipping for pedals from Amazon? any other taxes you have to pay?Mini Forklift Ⓥ wrote:Wouldn’t mind a decent vibe pedal, anybody tried the MXR Uni Vibe? Re: What are you gassing for?
No taxes are showing at checkout, shipping for this pedal is $9. Not badKNNZ wrote:sorry off topic but on a similar note, how much is shipping for pedals from Amazon? any other taxes you have to pay?Mini Forklift Ⓥ wrote:Wouldn’t mind a decent vibe pedal, anybody tried the MXR Uni Vibe? Re: What are you gassing for?
Anyone know of a decent source for this pedal (Revv G3), other than Thomann (expensive) or Reverb (everything seems to be + unknown amount for shipping).
Generally don't like pedals, especially "distortion" pedals - anything based on diode clipping sounds arse to my ears - but this pedal sounds awesome!

Ola makes any distortion pedal sound awesome, you should really get a Waza Metal Zone insteadDanger Mouse wrote:Anyone know of a decent source for this pedal (Revv G3), other than Thomann (expensive) or Reverb (everything seems to be + unknown amount for shipping).

But I've also had over 30 years of experience in making distortiony things sound good, so can easily spot when something sounds good because it is good, rather than because it's been played through and recorded well.
He can make a Metal Zone sound great too, but that Revv is on another level.

Re: What are you gassing for?
Les Paul with p-90s and a Bigsby. Gold or black.
Oh, and a nice combo that’s a bit raunchier than what I have. Supro, Bogner, Carr... something saucy

Nothing much at the moment, and my mind is surprisingly clear. New amp has quickly became a firm favourite, it even smells like an old(er) amp should.
