He's a very good player but not a great one, some people just have issue with the god-like status his fans give him.

I find his playing generally competent, but not particularly original and a bit soulless. Don't hate him, but don't listen to him either.

As for the guy himself, he had a regular slot on a DAB radio station in the UK (Planet Rock). The guy is a enormously passionate, hugely knowledgeable lover of all things blues and would play songs by other artists who were important to him, which were incredible. I'd never had heard them without his guidance, so much respect for him in that sense.
The older I get, the more disappointed in myself I become.

Watched the Ben Harper and Joe Bonamassa rig rundowns last night. Ben is such a cool dude and great player, his Dumbles sound killer.
Loving it so far

The guitarist from Nine Inch Nails appears to be under the influence of drugs.

Watched that a couple of days ago, funny that he knows absolutely nothing about guitars but seems to be able to control that monstrous pedalboard haha

I actually couldn't watch that, it was too painful and awkward. I bet both of them had moments where they were hoping the ground would open and swallow them up :eh:
