Because they managed to come up with something even worse in 2015 haha:
That is just awful. Looks like the logo was written by a 7 year old with a marker pen.

I think it was the signature of Les Paul himself, aged 90 or something like that. So despite it looking bad I am loathe to knock it as much as it deserves.
No longer in the mail, or even the shop.... now under my desk.
Big thanks to the GC RSdave for the dealio...
I now have a 2000 watt amp that literally goes to 11
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.
Ah cool, nice! I nearly picked up the Alto 312 (https://www.rockshop.co.nz/shop/alto-pr ... eaker.html) which is the same, the Headrush is just a rebadge I think... until I heard it couldn't handle high volume bass guitar so well, which is no good for my purposes!
On that note, if you do get to crank it up with a bass guitar, let me know if it farts out, haha

Ultimately though, guitars are like women. On paper there's not much difference but only a few can make you happy.

Because its not, its an alto box (pretty standard for china) with headrush designed speakers and eq. Heard all of the comparisons, check it out for real.

Seriously though, I've spent a good 4 weeks investigating both... the alto box is a standard design and its actually used by at least 3 other manufacturers. Apart from that, having just spent the last hour or so with it - I wouldn't care if it was behringer. Dunno if its specifically tuned for the pedalboard but to me its next level. I've been playing it through my PA - with alto speakers hahaha - but this has stepped it up a notch gotta play some more
and if you want to call the guy a liar, you're welcome

I take it back, they're not identical! The Headrush doesn't have a mic preamp, so the response is flatter (different EQ curve), so its probably better for modellers.
Nice!
(wonder if they'd let me open it up with the Helix and the bass guitar at band practice level lol)
