I’d love to smash the life out of that thing as a stage guitar, 50 gigs a year....probably look cool then. The first 25 gigs the rest of the band would be taking the piss tho.

When every other industry is pandering to the huge Chinese market, why are we surprised that Gibson would try to as well?

Btw the price is linked to the Chinese market as well - 6 for luck and 9 for year of the dog :) and double each of those for profits obviously ;)

Can basically guarantee that no Chinese's gonna buy it haha, many would argue that it's cultural appropriation.

They're doing fine in China with historics and CC's.
