NAMM 2018
Kicks off on the 25th.
Pity Ed won’t be there for us.
Friedman is releasing his own speakers which I’m kinda interested in.
Also hoping KSR will be demoing the Q amp.
What’s everyone keen on seeing this year?

More Friedman amps. I'd fanboy the lot of them if I had the money.higainer wrote:Kicks off on the 25th.

I'm keen to see Jeff Loomis with Jackson, if they're releasing anything yet - though maybe it's too soon. Looks like it'll be a flat top Kelly like Marty's old signatures.

Very interested to see the rest of this. Probably cost the same as all of my guitars combined.Zaulkin wrote:
This! But they'll need a billboard just to communicate the pricetag, probably.
Thankfully I like strats, but I am very curious.
Loving it so far

Tremonti sig PRS amp: https://www.guitarworld.com/gear/prs-in ... ard-guitar
Bit gimmicky being only 15w imo, not like that’s what he’ll be playing live. Not that most players want 100w amps these days I suppose.

But does he play his SE model live? It would be the most popular SE model by a fair bit.StratMatt wrote:Tremonti sig PRS amp: https://www.guitarworld.com/gear/prs-in ... ard-guitar

Re: NAMM 2018
True that. I like the lunchbox amps actually. Would happily buy another mini rec. Be keen to see how they price this and how the 6L6s sound in a smaller platform.Terexgeek wrote:But does he play his SE model live? Tuners looked cheap on my Suhr Strat as it 'appens. Americans do love their chrome even if nickel does look a million times better.telefiend wrote: Tuners look a bit cheap...

Re: NAMM 2018
I think they meant 6V6. A modern 6L6 pumps out 22-30w.
Live he uses Triple Rectifiers and Bogners. Studio it's just about everything. On the 3 times I've seen him play he's always used various incarnations of his PRS signature.

Very weird. Chrome screams aliexpress to me, but I guess they like the more shiney.Molly wrote:Tuners looked cheap on my Suhr Strat as it 'appens. Americans do love their chrome even if nickel does look a million times better.telefiend wrote: Tuners look a bit cheap...
