These DGT's supposed to have thicker bodies like McCarty's. I heard heaps of great stuff about this model. Congrats!
Yes. There are a few tweaks that I like. Bigger frets and thicker body are the main ones. Early DGTs were nitro but this is a later one so has the V12 finish. Should be here in a day or two.

There was a nitro run of DGT and standards with moon inlays. Very good guitars, but I'm a sucker for the flames and bird inlays, so this guitar is one badass mofo!

The DGT pickups are very articulate and responsive. I love the white/pearl tuner buttons btw!

Wondering how it'll make me feel about the SC245. Had another big purchase today so I'll be looking around my gear wondering what needs to go in order to cover the cost. Will let you know what I make of the DGT once it's here.

And now another guy back in the North Island. Genuinely sad to see it go but there's always the next one. :-)

I've got an SE 245 with several upgrades up for grabs, but I suspect you're looking for a core model?

I was going to say: "That's how it starts..." but then I thought about it. I think it starts with dissatisfaction with the inconsistent quality of some other brands. At least with PRS you can be sure it'll be a ******* well put together guitar.

FYI Molly: re. quality, PRS are to Gibson what Suhr are to Fender... (and yes, my Suhr Strat is still for sale to a good home  ).

Resurrecting this old thread because I'm in a PRS state of mind.

Sell me this one, Conway. Time you got something more up-to-date.
