I bought a huge tome full of circuit diagrams. Have NO clue what I'm looking at... LOL. God, I wish I understood this stuff. Maybe in retirement.

Shown recently but Optimus Prime with his pants off.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

No short answer to this.
With the 6DZ7 valves, like a short tempered AC30.
With 6L6, a Blackface Fender.
It has the widest sweet spot of any amp I've ever met. With the volumes at 9-10 o'clock and the boost off, it's a brilliant pedalboard engine that produces volumes your band mates only occasionally complain of. Turn it up and hit the boost and you'd better be outside. Boosted, you're best to plug straight in. (Haven't tried a Rangemaster yet; that might be fun)
Boosted 6L6 mode is great for heavy blues. The 6DZ7s are a bit too feral for my delicate constitution; feels more like a weapon than a musical instrument.

TL:DR?
It's totally wicked!!!!!! :D

I imagine Alan's Pig would put it in its place though.

Mrs tells me my new amp was delivered at 8am. Pretty quick considering it only left Auckland at 3pm yesterday. Anyway, here's a gut-shot. Looks simple enough...

Wow, that's really cool. Is that vertical point to point ? Haven't seen that before.

Yes. That seems a good way to describe it. I'm not sure what the advantages are. Noticed they did the same thing for another of their amps recently:

Great service from Malcolm. And he's not really in Auckland, he's Orewa. Which to me is the far North.

Dibs @60% cost - lol
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...
