NCML3M-Day!
New Chapman ML3 Modern Day! (Care of Oldie!)
Got this on Monday, but waited until I'd cranked it out at practice last night to give my thoughts, but holy jeezballs... the quality on this thing is superb. Super dense (read: HEFTY) mahog. body, quick neck with decent chunk, quality electronics and hardware and very potent, yet malleable pickups. The cleans on coil-tapped mode are phenomenal and it has chunky crunch for days.
Will get pics up, but one of these.

Could be the best guitar i've had in this price range and the build quality is quite, quite impressive.

Looks nice. I have a bit of a thing for the new ML1, I believe the new one are lighter than the previous models.

They not bad eh?
I sold mine cause it was the least played and the most valuable in terms of new-to-used price ratio... I miss it sometimes.
Shit it was heavy though!

Yep, I'll take the standard scale length one then. Love his playing in Toska but can't handle the numetal garbage that is dorgeKloppsta wrote:nice bro! i would love one of the Chapman Rabea Massaad baritone's in my life! (the red one)

Re: NCML3M-Day!
Have to agree, Rabea and Chappers can both play, but Dorje leave me pretty uninspired for the most part. I just find I can't Chappers voice or look seriously in that style of music.

Re: NCML3M-Day!
#DREDGE.
So, I sold this guitar about six months after owning it because of the weight, but had some regrets due to the tone and playability of it.
Ended up purchasing another one figuring I'd just harden up when it comes to the heft of the thing, only to find the newer model is quite different. Considerably lighter body, different neck profile, straight headstock now vs angled pitch, different control layout. Actually feels like a different, yet similar guitar.
Pics and thoughts to come, but so far, so good.
