That EJ you swapped with me would look lovely in deep blue. Hmmm... What is the name of that colour you had your JagMaster or whatever refinished in? I like that.

I have done one gratuitous blue repaint. But you'd never recover the cost when reselling.

Yes, that would look very nice indeed. The official Fender colour is called Mystic Blue.

Do you recover much these days anyway? What about a blue MJT body and transplanting that, the reverting when it's time to sell?

Seems like a lot of faffing around. I've got a sonic blue Suhr strat now anyway.

I've been following these guys for quite a while now, but it always strikes me as a looker... a showpiece... more than something one would play. As showpieces they're absolutely stunning. Probably performs well too but I'd be too scared of scratching it.

yes but this isn't their private build, it's an asian build. so all the looks but without the price and associated fear of hurting it. I think that video they posted a year or so ago just inspired lust around the world...

That tremolo is neat, looks wicked too.

Gassing for something with a TV Jones pickup in it; just to see what the fuss is about.
Loving it so far

A new version of Belle Epoch coming soon. The JMP MkII he is running it to sounds really sweet too. Not only the tape delay setting, but I like the rotosphere and BBD settings too. People crying about lack of tap tempo, but it has exp pedal control of delay time. It also has the record and playback pres of the original. Sounds pretty legit EP3 to my ears.
