If you could go ahead and convey the dynamic qualities that'd be great.

Re: Show Us Your Tone
Wanted to record something that shows the dynamic nature of the Two Rock. Well, I don't know if I've done that as well as I'd hoped but here it is anyway.

Cheers. It's kind of Voxy to my ears. Well, on those opening chords at least. Maybe I'm wrong in that since the amp's, I think, Fender derived.hamo wrote:

Sounds like my Katana did on the crunch channel.
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

Only a bit fizzy and not as dynamic? The two-rock I mean....sizzlingbadger wrote:Sounds like my Katana did on the crunch channel.

That Two Rock sounds awesome, great demo! - I was just kidding (I think it sounds Fendery rather than Vox though but we all have different ears)
I have your old RA100 here at the moment, it too is awesome

Speaking of awesome, and incestuous, amps I have the Blankenship back.sizzlingbadger wrote:Molly wrote:that's what I was aiming for.sizzlingbadger wrote:Sounds like my Katana did on the crunch channel.

Re: Show Us Your Tone
You know that live John Mayer tone from 'Where The Light Is' on such tracks as Gravity and all that malarkey? My Strat into the Tone King totally nails it.
Just sayin'. Don't have a demo or ewt.
As you were.

Re: Show Us Your Tone
Why is it as soon as you hit record you become so self-conscious about being recorded that your playing turns to shit?
Anyway, recorded this somewhat repetitive noodle today. Tone King Sky King is just at bedroom levels (actually, it's on half but I've wound up one of the attenuators). 808 is off so it's just straight in with the Wildwood '55 Strat.
