"Don't look at it!"

I just can't get comfortable playing Lesters but an R8/9 is the guitar I most yearn to own.
I'm so conflicted. :eh:

Faceless, that looks like a perfect R9. Could you tell us the story about how you got it please.

1) I'm sure you meant R0

2) Have you tried playing it standing up until you're tired and drunk and leaning over? It's quite comfortable when the heavy guitar just hangs in space and you play it and it stays where you put it.

3) just get an SG. Or 3.

1) Not an R0. Can't abide skinny necks.
2) I'm always tired, drunk and leaning over.
3) I'm a large, ham fisted oaf and SG's are so delicate.

Thanks! I bought this in 2013 when I was working in Singapore. Shipped it from Ishibashi and came with classic 57's. It's quite light around 8lbs, lightest Gibson LP I have ever owned. Comfy neck and really sings. Now has a pair of Wolfetone pickups - Marshallhead neck and Timbre Wolf bridge in cream bobbins.

The above photos does not do much justice though. Here's an iPhone shot with the flames under the melting sun:

P90's on LP's have a different level of bite and grit, and they are mean and raunchy, I like them!
