So cool !
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

Yeahorright, you win; that's better.
Way, way better.
You shouldn't have sucked on the headstock while thinking though.

Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

I'm getting a quote for a Dual Tone logo haha...Slowy wrote:Yeahorright, you win; that's better.

Anyway, tone clip I believe this is the first thing that any self respecting Supro Dual Tone owner should play.

Re: Smelly old 57 Supro...
been on the workbench this morning. Took her over to slowy's on sunday and noticed one of the volume pots was no longer working
All looked ok but I stripped the wiring out to remake all the joints and test the pots, oil filled caps etc...
So the pots are all original from 1956 And the caps are still fine too, not bad for their age lol. Resoldered all the wiring and drew out the circuit, but it seems to be just a standard 2 vol, 2 tone pot circuit. pots all read about 270K
Put the neck pup back in reversed to try and brighten it a little but its still pretty dark, oh well, its great for woman tone lol.
Next on the bench is the tele, installing the ferrules. I should do some work but fuggit, missus is out all day, may crank an amp or two
