Caught up with an old musical compatriot from the distant past yesterday. He's got a daughter who is doing good things for herself. Anybody heard of her?

yeah it does, but then it should really given the wood has had at least 4 decades longer to forget it was once a tree. Also the ageing of magnets makes a huge difference.

This will likely be the worst thing you see all year, unless he puts out another track

Clicked on this expecting to watch a minute or two and ended up being transfixed, what an amazing pianist. The track they show her playing as a live take was simply incredible, hard to fathom how there was not one wrong note and the whole song was done in a single take

Liked the camerawork. Bet you a dollar Mangini is gonna be filling out an ACC form before the end of the month for neck strain due to the positioning of his cymbals

Killer band, amazing vocalist that can take it from Winehouse to Joplin whenever she sees fit. Have had their 'Tricky Thing' album on repeat for the last week or two and I've just came across this on YouTube, quality looks great so should be well worth a watch

This is probably the track that stood out the most to me on the album if anyone wanted a quick listen to see what they're about...

Aldous harding is pretty good for NZ music. FInd her vocal style a little hammed up tho. She's on 4AD.
