Not a huge fan, but the Oasis sound on their first and second albums were fantastic - and live it was apparently immense. According to that recent doco it had so much do to with their sound guy Mark Coyle. EDIT: Or maybe it was Owen Morriss. Anyway - still a cracking sound!

I think Noel used to run a marshall SS practice amp into the front of his AC30 or some such madness :lol:

I love the rhythm sound of High Voltage era AC/DC, but who knows what they were using back then. They used Holden amps and a selection of Gibsons in their very early days, plus you'd have to factor in crappy mics and a crappy desk... as well as not quite being tune with each other or themselves.
