Having a nice time with the tele and the match 30 amp on the multiamp
Lots of verb and a touch of delay
Then kick in with a tube screamer
Can't really catch the awesomeness with a iPhone tho :(

Looks like I can't embed with a iPhone too
:mental:

I'm on bass for these ones - sound samples from a project I'm in (looking for Wellington area gigs at the moment! Exciting!)

https://soundcloud.com/battleforendor

These were recorded DI, but they are Bass > Boss MS-3 > Mesa Boogie Subway DI Preamp > Interface (then with a cabinet impulse slapped on in Logic)

"Ode" is the inbuilt bass overdrive (which I've since relegated after getting a Darkglass B3k clone), and Tacklebox is a patch with flange, delay, reverb etc.

When I had it, I was putting a jcm900 copy through it.
It was awesome.

Set up that THR100HD in the garage. It's running through the Friedman 1x12 with a Creamback 65. Guitar is a Les Paul. Recorded on my phone and squished by YouTube so I don't know how representative it is. I just set up the channels so one has a bit more gain than the other and I just worked my way up and down: C1, C1+Boost, C2, C2+Boost and back down again. It's a meandering first take but who gives a fuck...

The first minute and the last 30 secs appeal much to me. Wonder how much the cab choice influences the sound.
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.

Me too. The lower gain stuff... Maybe that's easier to get 'right'. Maybe the high gain stuff provides much more of a challenge. No idea but listening back I definitely thought the same thing.

That particular cab is ported. It's a great match for the Dirty Shirley but I suppose it doesn't follow that it would be for other amps. That said, it's early days for my tweaking with this amp and there's still a lot more to explore.

Not especially representative given how quite it was. Low output pickups. Plexi gain on 10. BE channel gain on about 7.
