Not quite a GE-500 but close enoughMattallica wrote:
GE-7 x 5 (most useful pedal EVER)
Hey Matt, would Boss ever consider making a "GE-500"? basically take the MXR-180 full 10 band eq+vol+gain and put it in the new chasis with presets and midi. Would be more user friendly than the GE-20.
That would be the Ta-Tas and i'd buy one in a heart beat. The most useful pedal made more useful?
It's hard to know what is being cooked up in the R&D department at any given time - but I'd be very doubtful. The GE-20 sold very poorly and there is likely little motivation to develop a new multi-format EQ. Who knows though. Stranger things have happened....
I reckon a new compact sized EQ with MIDI presets would be pretty awesome.
Hahaha, yes I actually remembered this conversation the other day. I was so super excited when I eventually saw the design brief for the EQ-200....as it's pretty much exactly what you wanted.Mattallica wrote:http://www.nzguitars.com/forum/viewtopi ... 7&start=30

I better put my money where my quote is then? I'll actually take the smaller form factor as well, even if they didn't fit the standard midi sockets.Hahaha, yes I actually remembered this conversation the other day. We have a pre-production version in the office at the moment and it's amazing. Best EQ pedal ever made, IMHO.
Hot damn! Huge GAS for both of those!!! When can I get them Matt?handsoffmatt wrote:Also, just casually.... these just happened a few moments ago...
