Isn't the Soul Food just another Klon(e)?

I recently order a Rowin Twin Looper and a Donner multi FX pedal (Reverb/Delay/Chorus) from Aliexpress for my acoustic board. Will report back in 14-25 days.
Nothing to see here.

Yes, the soul food is “rumoured” to “have some similarities” to a “well known overdrive pedal”, and all that other shit.

These new R series Joyo pedals are pretty cool, this one looks like their own design, albeit not original idea...

Just received the Joyo Us Dream - Still getting it worked out. I really like it overall. Only gripe is that the tone control is kinda weird - when all the way left it almost makes it sound like I'm playing with a pillow over the speaker. (Maybe it is my guitar/amp that this is the case). Design-wise, the recessed and side mounted 9V input is a bit of a pain.
I want all the pedals!

It's probably one of those ones which in one direction removes frequencies, but in the other direction enhances them :)

You mean as opposed to a control where left = more bass, right= more treble?

I'm not sure - this one seems to cut nearly everything into a muffled 'clogged' sound - but i've probably only really gone hard left and not been subtle with it

Whatever’s cheap off eBay.
Not a centaur circuit fan mesel, but had some random one that did the trick.
