I have not read the original post, so I'll just be annoying and chime in with my standard recommendation: HOTCAKE.
Excellent clean boost or low-gain 'transparent' overdrive, good gritty distortion and super cool fuzz-ish high gain fat sustain noisiness.
Only think it doesn't do is tubescreamer mid hump type sound
