Hmm yeah, I'm not as excited about the Suhr LP. Its probably better than a normal LP, but I wouldn't buy one.

$7995 US for a figured top. $7495 US for a goldtop. 100 guitars to be made celebrating 20 years of Suhr.

There's some new Marshall amps coming out.

The DSL series is being revamped again and will appear in 1w, 20w, 40w, and 100w versions. Watt scaling, studio quality reverb, yadda yadda.

The Origin series is a whole new amp range, one of them classic design retro/modern jobs with the basket weave grille cloths.

Ugh, I thought it might be spendy...say around the $5K US mark.
This just seems over the top tho.

Kinda reminds me of a Huber.

No doubt it’ll be fantastic but waaaay to much for the likes of me :(

Lordy! I've six decent guitars and four amps that together only cost a shade more than that.

Another gaudy overpriced LP for architects and dentists. Very PRS like.

Haha celebrate 20 years of Suhr by making something altogether different from what made them famous...

I agree with Ed. If you want a quality Les Paul style guitar, everyone knows the thing to get is a PRS Singlecut.

Spent a few hours with a Colossus the other day. Not sure if I should call it a more refined Recto or an SLO with less balls...

Hmm, interesting.
No complaints with the Gemini since I got it back from Kyle
TBH, I’ve logged swfa time on Recto’s or SLO’s so ymmv.
The SLO wasn’t a bad amp, just didn’t blow me away.
The Recto just wasn’t my cuppa tea.
Perhaps with more time, vol or different speakers I might have reached a different conclusion.

I’m tending to go with Chris Peters opinion in his Artemis video, as far as the Rhodes/KSR vibe goes.
Hands down the best explaination I’ve found to date.

Part of me was thinking about loading it (Gemini) with KT-77’s initially since I’ve never been a 6L6 guy.
However since getting it back, it sounds so good I don’t think I’ll bother.

The Juno being built on EL34’s is tugging at my heart strings.
Damn you Kyle Rhodes :lolno:
