Recommend me a Pedal

Post by Slowy »

Modulation/tremolo do it all.

Problem with playing in a multiple guitar band is you start reaching for the lollipop pedals to get yourself some space. And then you only use the damn things on one or two songs. But there they are; taking up board space and making a rats nest of the signal chain.

Anybody know a good do-all wobble & swirl that doesn't go for Strymon prices or double as an aircraft hanger?
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Line 6 M series. If it's good enough for Grant it's good enough for you ;)

Go for a small multi effects unit - with or without an expression pedal, such as Korg & Zoom.
For example, I have a Korg Pandora Stomp in which I have set up complete patches that I like, plus others which are only one effect.
i.e. a Pitch Detune, a chorus, a reverb and so on, and the pedal is the same size as most normal pedals.
Epiphone Riviera P93 & EJ200CE, Hagstrom Viking Bass, Doubleneck bass/guitar.
Rivera Clubster 45, Carvin AG100D, Ashton BSK158.

I had a listen to the Keeley dark side and I guess if you want some Gilmore sounds this could be it. Downside over 500.

That was RS price. 320 sounds more palatable.

I'd strongly recommend the TC Nova Modulator. Great do it all pedal, doesn't take up a lot of space and can be had for under $200.
