I'm looking for something that I can use to save ideas quickly to play later with a drummer.
Current ideas are a Boss RC-3 or a JamMan
Anyone got any recommendations or something they use in a similar way?

either of those, I had the Jamman with dual switches and it was great, you can save 99 loops internally and 99 on SDcard if I remember correctly.
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

I know jellybelly has a Trio for sale. Would that do the trick?Hollowpoint wrote:I'm looking for something that I can use to save ideas quickly to play later with a drummer.

BOSS RC-3 for sure!
It even has built-in rhythm tracks for when the drummer calls in sick

If you get a rc3 get the fs7?? Dual footswitch to go with it, makes life way easier bring able to stop and play and change patches etc

A Trio or a Trio Plus? I think only the Trio plus has a looper but even then might be overkill for what I need.Molly wrote:I know jellybelly has a Trio for sale. Would that do the trick?Hollowpoint wrote:I'm looking for something that I can use to save ideas quickly to play later with a drummer.

RC-3 is also cool in that you can plug it in via usb cable and it appears as a flash drive, you can then copy wav files into the folders on it to have as samples or whatever you want to play, used to use mine for sample playing with my old band
