Re: New BOSS Products coming....
Anyone else have a GT-1000? I picked one up on a recent trip to the states (for about half the price Rockshop is asking!), and it is a great unit, much improved over my old gt-100. I am just getting in to tweaking it, but many of the presets are usable as-is. The sound quality is incredible.

Man I'll be all over this. The only thing that is currently similar is the Fryette Power Station and the Ox amp top box, both of which are pretty pricey. Even then though, the Top Box cannot amplify the signal up to 100 watts and the Power Station doesnt have built in effects and is hard to come by. I wonder what the pruce of this will be.

Damn, that spins all the wheels. Just needs some rack ears and a headphone jack on the front panel

I suppose it would be too much to ask for a re-amp facility as well

It's rack mountable The boss of BOSS (hah) posted a picture of one in a rack case a few days ago, it looks, as the kids say, dope af.
I'll have to check because there are so many features that some have already dropped out of my head, but I'm pretty sure this will be possible.Mattallica wrote:I suppose it would be too much to ask for a re-amp facility as well

Ed, any idea on an approximate cost for one will be? Too early to tell?slash-ed wrote:Mattallica wrote:Damn, that spins all the wheels. Just needs some rack ears and a headphone jack on the front panel

Re: New BOSS Products coming....
If not, could you ask the engineers to whip up a version of the roland capture interface that has di in&out/interface/re-amp all in the same box?I'll have to check because there are so many features that some have already dropped out of my head, but I'm pretty sure this will be possible.
I'm not aware of a product that has all three features and I would love to condense the number of units on my shelf.
You could even make it a 1u rack mount and pair it with the load box..

The meaning yes, but we presumed that jb meant the opposite....Conway wrote:Oh. I thought it was correct the first time.

Re: New BOSS Products coming....
I’ll be honest, I’m not personally that interested in any of the new Boss stuff coming through, but what I AM stoked about is a music company is actually regularly and rapidly releasing new stuff and trying new things. Someone up the food chain is doing something right at Boss in terms of the R&D budget and letting the boffins have at it. Kudos.
