Re: Hi everyone
We've swapped places, in the last 4 days I've bought a Guitar, Digitalampsimthingy and a modern day calliper!

Re: Hi everyone
I've been clean since the 4th August but its been a struggle.
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

Re: Hi everyone
I don't really have GAS any more, still buying gear, but it's really just purchasing tools to achieve my musical goals.... finding a direction with music was the best thing ever for me!!

Re: Hi everyone
I bought some new strings a couple of years ago.
The older I get, the more disappointed in myself I become.

Re: Hi everyone
I am happy in the knowledge that no amount of money in the world spent on guitars and guitar-related trinkets will make be a better player. Longer fingers would, but I can't find anywhere that sells those.Olderama wrote:i know brother it sits deep in your mind that you strayed off the path of GASSOUSNESS but im sure you will be okDanger Mouse wrote:I bought some new strings a couple of years ago.

Re: Hi everyone
Ha my missus and her best friend (also married to a guitarist) have both said guitar players have magic fingers. It's not the size, etc, etc....twangnsnarl wrote:I could sell you mine I don't think my girlfriend would be too happy...Danger Mouse wrote: Longer fingers would, but I can't find anywhere that sells those.
