Tried the DD-500 today on lunch break at the RS.

VERY nice

waiting on payday and some things to pan out - looks like I'll be buying a DD-500 - didn't think I'd be buying anything Boss again since I was 17 with a Keeley Modded DS-1.

Dilemma solved.


Found a Second hand DD-500 for around $320 (second hand as in Repackaged from factory - b-stock)

Wow that is a great price. Nicely done.
Larrivee 00 Acoustic. FAV Strat for electric. Ibanez SDGR5 for bass. Push for Ableton. When not doing that, 3D CAD for tunnels...

Interesting turn of phrase that some retailers use. BOSS doesn't do any factory repackaging.

yeah - asked the shop on reverb.

he said it's a repackage - listing said factory packed.

but he actually ended up telling me a couple days ago that it was a customer return and it was "factory repacked" as in - everything in the box put back in the box :clap: :lol:

everything's fine with it. I assume the guy who bought and returned it didn't like it.

not a mark on it - still had plastic on it etc.
