Hi Guys,
I came a cross this 30 year old passive attenuator, I'm just wonderng, what's the use for them? THere's an active and passive ones but It seems like the passive is just a volume. Even so if you want to crank a tube amp, what does the passive do? (sorry i've no idea)

What brand is it? I had a Tom Sholtz one (of Boston and the Rockman fame) many years ago. My main memory of it was that it got hot enough to make toast.

Thats a big question a huge problem, the brand has been rubbed off, I can see that its a Pi pad attenuator. An old guy has been using it for a long time.Molly wrote:What brand is it? Its got volume, bass and treble adjust. On the other hand, Does anyone know what make this is?
